Artist Statement

Although I create functional pottery for everyday use, my pots look like anything but your average everyday wares. It is a challenge to take components and put them together in interesting and innovative ways that play on proportion and are pleasing to the eye. It is my goal to create work that speaks to the whimsical, the fantastical, and maybe even the curious. Above all, I believe it is important to maintain a playful sense of humor and curiosity about my work.
