Artist Statement

My work pushes the boundary between sculpture and collage. I create collages from a large bank of various found materials – an ever-growing collection of found papers that lends to the unpredictable nature of my pieces. Pockets of information, narrated by the marks within the pieces, are communicated with every piece. Surface treatment reinforces the interaction between structure and the lively nature of my work.
