Research: The role of ER-lumenal factors and events involved in Cholera toxin trafficking
After working in Bill Tsai's lab as an undergraduate, Jeff was hired as the lab manager in 2008. His project is focused on characterizing proteins involved in Cholera toxin trafficking inside the Endoplasmic Reticulum. Jeff has enjoyed living in Ann Arbor for the last ten years. When not running western blots, Jeff has fun playing sports, hiking, reading, and seeing family and friends.
Research: Role of host factors in SV40 translocation to the nucleus
Allie completed her B.S. at the University of California Santa Cruz where she studied the effects of small molecule inhibitors on the type three secretion system of Yersinia pseudotuberculosis. She is a graduate student in the department of Microbiology and Immunology, and enjoys when scientific fields overlap, such as viral hijacking of cellular mechanisms. In her free time, Allie loves to run, bike, read and eat.
Research: The role of ERAD components in protein degradation
Corey received a B.S. degree in Molecular Biology from Westminster College (PA) in 2013 where he studied the role of TREX-2 components in nuclear protein transport. Corey joined the Tsai Lab in 2014 to study dynamics of protein degradation through the ERAD pathway. Away from the lab, he enjoys playing and watching sports, traveling, and writing music on his bass guitar.
