The Paola Local Council projects are driven through a task group made up of councillors, administrators, professionals, Voluntary Organisation representatives and interested citizens ready to support project development.

The project success rate depends on good teamwork and experience. The task group was established in 2008 to coordinate EU funded projects and later between 2009-2011 coordinated the REPAIR Action Plan. In the compilation of the Plan consultation was driven through the Urban Local Support Group. We are trying to maintain this structure to assist in devising 'democratisation in planning and design'.  

We thrive to create responsible projects to spur regeneration with the support of co-funding schemes. We are also seeking new interested parties to support our mission.

PAOLA LOCAL COUNCIL ACTION PLAN

The Council's main aim is to improve and create new physical and social regeneration projects, as well as spur development through local heritage, tourism and cultural industries. Paola is a hub for new opportunities in transportation links, commerce and recreation. We will strive to revitalise living conditions and to promote regeneration in the area.
