AT FORT

 

Paola Local Council is currently leading a project with local stakeholders to conserve and restore areas of the salient fort and lines of the Corradino fortifications. The Council is currently circulating a consultation document (first draft) with the local VOs (Voluntary Organisations). After consultations with officials with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure the Council is jointly coordinating cleaning of the areas around the Corradino Lines.

NEWSLETTERS 2013-2014

 

A bi-monthly Newsletter is being circulated by the Council to update the citizens of Paola and the Voluntary Organisations of the actions being taken and outcomes of the management plan and implementation plan.

 

MEDIA 2013-2014

 

The AT FORT project and the Paola Local Council featured in the media three times during the period 2013-2014 with reports on the Atelier in Malta in April, the media event organised by the Municipality of Besancon, France and during the Integration Seminar in December.

PROJECT PLANNING & COORDINATION

 

PAOLA LOCAL COUNCIL ACTION PLAN

 

The Council's main aim is to improve and create new physical and social regeneration projects, as well as spur development through local heritage, tourism and cultural industries. Paola is a hub for new opportunities in transportation links, commerce and recreation. We will strive to revitalise living conditions and to promote regeneration in the area.
