Daniel Wendt, President
Daniel Wendt is a senior at LSU pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Finance, specializing in Personal Financial Planning. He is also an Information Technology Management minor. At LSU, Wendt is the Drum Major of the Golden Band from Tigerland, a member of the Bengal Brass Band, and President of the Student Financial Planning Association. He also serves as the Student Board Member on the Board of Directors of the Financial Planning Association of Baton Rouge. He works year round as the Executive Student Assistant of the LSU CFP Board-Registered Program.
Amy Frechette, Vice President
Amy Frechette is from West Orange, New Jersey. She is a senior at LSU pursing a Bachelor of Science in Finance, with a concentration in the Certified Financial Planning Program. In addition to serving on the SFPA Executive Board for two years, she also holds the position of Chief Operations Officer in her sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta. She spent her summer interning at Merrill Lynch and is eager to return after graduation.
Frank Betts, Member at Large
Frank Betts is from Spokane, Washington, He is pushing his MS in Finance in his 3rd year of a 6 year plan with a focus on the CFP program He has been employed at ExxonMobil for more than 20 years.
Austin, Delery, Treasurer
Austin Delery is currently a senior Finance major enrolled in LSU's CFP Board Registered Program. He joined The Olivier Group in 2015 as a financial planning intern and enjoys assisting advisors in providing wealth management services to clients. In addition to the Student Financial Planning Association, Austin is also a Student Member of Baton Rouge's Financial Planning Association.
SFPA is run by several talented students, all enrolled in the CFP Program, at Louisiana State University.
