ABOUT THE GROUP

*

This research group is focused on understanding the response of the neutrophil to different stimuli, using proteomics as the major tool to decipher which proteins are involved in these many processes.

We chose neutrophils because they are early participants in the inflammation and influence all steps of such response.

We use proteomics because it allows us to detect a large number of proteins altered in different biological conditions - a good tool for complex systems.

We chose science because it is fun.
