Notice to all ICMETE 2018 Authors:

 

At least one author of each paper must be registered for the conference within a week of Acceptance in order for the paper to be published in the proceedings. Presentation of an accepted paper at the conference is a requirement of publication. Any paper that is not presented at the conference will not be included in IEEE Xplore.

Submission Instructions

 

The accepted papers from this conference will be submitted for publication by IEEE Computer Society in IEEE proceedings and submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases.(indexed by EI Compendex). Distinguished papers, after further revisions, will be considered for possible publication in several SCI & EI indexed special issues of prestigious international journals. By submitting a paper to the conference, authors assure that if the paper is accepted, at least one author will attend the conference and present the paper. Papers should be written in English conforming to the IEEE conference proceedings format (8.5" x 11", Two-Column). Papers should be submitted through the paper submission system at the conference website. Full Papers (up to 6 pages, with the over length charge) are solicited.

 

All submissions have to comply with IEEE’s guidelines. Initial submissions for review are limited to seven (6) pages. Camera-ready papers should not exceed six (6) pages including figures without incurring additional page charges (maximum 2 additional page with over length page charge). Papers must be written using the IEEE conference proceedings style format (two-column and 10-point font). Information on IEEE style formats and available templates can be found here.

Review Process

 

Organizing Committee will send each paper to 3 independent reviewers, experts in the area of the paper.
So, each paper will be evaluated by three independent experts according to the following Criteria
1) Relevance to the Conference Call
2) Scientific - Technical Originality, Potential Impact and Interest for the audience
3) Scientific/Technical Content And Advances Beyond The State-Of-The-Art
4) Quality of the Presentation, Clarity of the Content
5) Comments For The Authors
The reviewers are going to indicate their familiarity with the paper's
subject, evaluate the paper along the aforementioned criteria. Finally, the Organizing Committee will decide what papers will be accepted. Our Score System will classify the papers as follows
Excellent Papers: Papers of outstanding quality - top 10% of the accepted papers
Very good Papers: Papers of very good quality - in the top 20% of accepted papers
Good papers: Papers of average quality - in the top 33% of accepted papers
Fair Papers: Papers of fair quality and below acceptable threshold
(implies: Rejection)
Poor Papers: Poor quality papers (implies: Rejection)

IEEE defines plagiarism as the reuse of someone else's prior processes, results, or words without explicitly acknowledging the original author and source. It is important for all IEEE authors to recognize that plagiarism in any form, at any level, is unacceptable and is considered a serious breach of professional conduct, with potentially severe ethical and legal consequences.

 

 

For ICMETE 2018: Accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as for  indexing to Inspec, EI’s Engineering Information Index, Compendex®,  and ISI Thomson’s Scientific and Technical  Proceedings®, ISTP®/ISI Proceedings, and Current Contents on Diskette® (ISI Thomson).
