AIR MUSEUM 6

Sited at the Willow Run Airport in Ypsilanti MI, This Air Museum was designed to exhibit bomber planes, cock pits, and other displays.  This curved form attempted to re-examine the idea of camouflage that was used at the airport during World War II.  This curved form negotiates with the terrain while being strategically placed within a heavily vegetated area within the site.  This form also allows certain aspects of the building to be viewed from an aerial view playing with the concept of aerial surveillance.
