Term 1

This term I have increased my knowledge of different aspects of photography. Through the portrait unit I learned about lighting and I enjoyed working with lighting because I never have before. My idea of photography has remained the same but my passion for it has grown again. In the summer I was not taking photographs and I did not miss it until class starting because I did not realize what I was missing. I hope to accomplish more portrait photographs that are more intense in the next term. 

Term 3

For the final term of the year I have developed a good sense of the aspects of photography. I have become more aware of my photography skills and noticed the improvement in my photos. This term I have focused my photography on the beauty of nature instead of human portraits. I have found it is more interesting and uplifting to take photos of the nature I see. I have noticed that I enjoy taking photos as I see my inspiration, instead of the photos being planned. I find my photos are more interesting when something catches my eye, rather than planning on finding a specific thing to take a photo of. This term I have also enjoyed taking many portraits of my dog and capturing all of her facial expressions.
