Synthetic Urine Reviews - Essentials

In 1987 a big issue was appeared in the arena of corporate sector. And the issue was the positive and the negative aspects of a corporate drug testing. The reason is simple as it was the year when the corporate drug testing was started. And many were for the testing and equally many were non supportive of this drug testing in work place. The issue was been debated since 1987. There was an article called "The Dilemmas of Drug Testing" which clearly defines the dilemmas of drug testing. In this report it was seen that 44 percent workers are under the influence of drugs and other illegal drugs and they are also convicted to comparatively more absence, leaving, quitting and having higher medical bills. And all these irregularities cost the company more than one hundred billion dollars in United States of America. All the employers were preferred the corporate drug testing for screening the drugs used by their employees. The employers directly told they want to test their employees' efficiency and ability to serve their company and then retain them only after succeeding in the test. Pass a drug test became a main criterion to keep the job alive in the corporate sectors in America in main sectors.

The issue of the business ethics of drug testing is basically split into two sides, much like most heated issues. On one side of the business ethics of drug testing debate are the employers and corporations. They said that they are giving their employees a reasonable lump of money and they also said that they reserve the right to know their addiction to drugs and any other illegal substances simply because the drugs can affect their employees' ability to produce the normal. If anything makes them less productive then they should have the right to know that. Additionally, employers argue that they need to be able to protect the safety of all their employees. They feel that employees with a regular drug habit pose a serious risk to the safety of others and that of the workplace as a whole. Statistics says an addicted person has as many as three times accidents in a workplace comparing to a normal person. In serious workplace like airports, nuclear plants, hospitals etc the accidents may turn into a serious one.

Other side that is employees are always on the side of non drug testing in a workplace as it harms their basic right to privacy.

They argued that corporate drug testing violate the employees' primary right to keep their personal life private. They feel that corporate drug testing has no business ethics because it is embarrassing for the particular employees who failed to pass a drug test. They also state that a random drug testing policy infringes on everyone's rights because it does not test based on probable cause. You can not forcibly prove this point because majority of the population and working persons are unwilling to provide the sample like urine and blood for blood test or urine test for confirming drugs.
