2012

On June 2nd 2012, Shiraishi Rika joined Houkago Princess along with six other members as a 3rd generation Cadet member.

2013

On March 15th 2013, both Rika and Yamaguchi Miran, as well as fourth generation Cadet Kizuki Saori, were successfully promoted to Regular members of Houkago Princess.

On October 21st 2013, Rika announced that she would go on Hiatus from Houkago Princess in order to focus on her studies and up-coming University exams.

On December 7th, Rika announced that she would graduate Houkago Princess in order to focus on her studies and getting into University. She held her final performances with the group on December 14th and 15th.

2014

in March of 2014, Rika took part in the 3rd Doll Auditions for a new group under Arc Jewel. The outcome of the auditions was based purely on fan votes. Rika did not land a place in the group through the fan votes, so once again left the entertainment industry.

In December of the same year, it was revealed that Rika had joined a new Idol unit named SAY-LA (pronounced: Seira) alongside Yamamoto Niina and Morkawaia Yui. The group made their live debut on December 21st.
