2011

In November 2011, Kobayashi Rena joined Houkago Princess alongside Nagafuji Aoi as a 2nd generation Cadet. She held the position of the Smile Chairman.

On December 10th 2011, both Rena and Aoi were promoted to Regular members on the day Yamaguchi Mai graduated from the group.

2013

Around March 2013, it was revealed that Rena had been Dismissed from Houkago Princess, however no reasons were given. It is assumed that she did not meet the requirements of the contract.

In October 2013, it was revealed that Rena would debut in a new unit called READY to KISS under the agency Get-Crazy alongside three other former members of Houkago Princess.

2014

In early 2014, alongside Nagafuji Aoi, Rika decided to leave READY to KISS and the entertainment industry.
