Deputy Sound Supervisor & Audio Assist

From the smallest jobs to the big Saturday night studio shows, major sporting events and music festivals, pre-recorded and live. Overseeing the technical installation and running of rigs and crews on behalf of the supervisor.

Setting up and maintaining talk-back networks, troubleshooting comms and sound issues in production and sound galleries. Mixing programme content and operating grams.

Leading crews on the studio floor or in the venue, managing mics, foldbacks, kit swaps, rf, presenters, pundits and the weather. Getting rigs in and out efficiently and safely.

Liaising with talent, production and 3rd parties such as PA companies to ensure a smooth operation. Anticipating and reacting to problems and finding effective solutions with minimal disruption.
