Welcome to
Round Island
Round Island (Île Ronde) rises from the azure blue Indian Ocean off the north coast of Mauritius.
Mainland Mauritius lost the Dodo but Round Island is still home to unique species of boas, skinks, geckos, palm trees, herbs and for some, don't exist in the wild anywhere else on Earth!
The island has not been undamaged by human activity but conservation actions have started to restore the island to a functioning island once again.
