Professionally trained 19-year old makeup artist, Meredith Menchel, was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Whilst attending MUD in 2014, Meredith began to focus on the technicalities of beauty makeup. Growing up in Los Angeles, the world of makeup artistry that surrounded her was red carpet beauty; from this she took inspiration, aiming to maximize client's features. While focusing on maintaining the authenticity of the individual, Meredith began to place facial features, quirks and coloring at the forefront of her practice. She draws inspiration from the contrast between natural and artificial, textiles and geometry. It's the mergence of her love for beauty makeup artistry and distinctive inspirations that have developed her signature editorial style. Glowing skin, innovative eyes and worldly details are staples in Meredith's work, which come together as she works closely with designers and artists to create experimental and pioneering looks.
