Getting the right price:

There are plenty of ways to get a deal on that dream Caribbean trip. Prices are, for the most part, pretty competitive. Most of the big players in travel offer attractive Mexican package holidays, last minutes flights to Mexico and almost too-good-to-be-true hotel prices. Magical Mexico:

When it comes to tourism, the Caribbean coast of Mexico is dominated by the bouncing resort of Cancun. An old-timer of the travel world, people have been flocking to Cancun for their perfect Caribbean trip - with its full complement of sun-kissed beaches and smart hotels - for years.

Away from its beaches, the Yucatan Peninsula is scattered with truly spectacular Mayan ruins like Coba, Xcaret and the awe-inspiring Chichen Itza. Compelling Cuba:

The largest Caribbean island, marooned out in the dazzling azure waters of, on one side, the Atlantic and the other, the Caribbean, Cuba is simply stunning. From its capital, Havana - a wonderful city of glorious faded grandeur - to its breathtaking beaches it's the complete holiday package.

When it comes to holiday resorts, they don't come much more enticing than Cuba's flagship: Varadero. An endless arc of spotless white sand that backs onto a broad swath of swanky hotels, it's the very model of a flop and drop summer holiday destination.

But Cuba's about so much more than lazing on a beach, and there's some great sightseeing to be done right across the island. A vibrant country of music, good times and all manner of exuberant life, it's dotted with corners that simply cry out to be explored. Out to the southeast of the island, Santiago de Cuba and the UNESCO protected colonial town of Trinidad (central Cuba) are both 'must sees'. Baracoa is a charming, little seaside town, while inland the mountainous region of Vinales is jaw-droppingly beautiful. Much like the island as a whole, in fact!
