CLASSES from only £8 per session!
- French for beginners/lower intermediate level Wednesdays 6:30pm-8pm £120 for 10 sessions or £15 pay as you go
In the first term, we learnt the basics such as introducing ourselves, asking questions, giving directions, talking about our hobbies or what we will do at the weekend etc. We will then move on in the second term and study the past tenses whilst learning more vocabulary.
- French conversation group Wednesdays 8pm-9:30pm £80 for 10 sessions or £10 pay as you go
The aim is for people to speak as much as possible. You will be given pictures, newspaper articles etc to encourage you to share your opinion on a specific topic and the tutor will be there to animate the debate. All levels are welcome but this group is more suitable for higher intermediate to advanced levels.
Both groups are held at the Portishead Town Council, 95 High Street, Portishead, Bristol, Avon, BS20 6PR in the Reynolds Room (first floor on the left, lift available)

- English as a foreign language - all levels. Taught by a qualified (CAFEP/CAPES, France, 2005) and experienced tutor who has worked in France and Scotland for 6 years.
- French - all levels . Tutored by a native French speaker who qualified as a teacher in 2003 (D.A.E.F.L.E) and who taught both in France and in the UK for 7 years.
The lessons will be planned according to your needs and the tutor will always make sure that she is following your own pace.
TRANSLATIONS from £0.056/word
We translate all sorts of documents from English to French or French to English. For a free quote, please send us your document(s) by email (Word).
LANGUAGE EXCHANGES from £60 or 75 Euros per person
If you want your child to improve their French or English, the best way is for them to spend some time speaking the target language with native speakers. We will match your son or daughter with a student the same age, who has similar tastes and hobbies. Once you have been informed that we have found a match and that you have agreed for us to send the other family your details, we will ask you to proceed with the payment. You don't have to pay anything until we have found a match!
The exchange will then be organised and paid by both parties. Linguamore does not have any responsibility for the travel arrangements or the activities planned during the stay. However, we will be happy to help with translation and travel advice if need be (free of charge).
