The original request was to create a facade for the European Environment Agency, but we were free to think beyond this premise and make Kgs. Nytorv part of it.

Whatever it was, it should be a green advert to be seen by thousand of people living and visiting the city of Copenhagen during the summer, so it was a great chance to bring forest to the city.

This project did not result as we planned, and none of our ideas were turned into reality. But the process was great and we had a lot of fun.

Theme was the forest.

It was funny to create an image of ordinary trees coming to the city, taking care of themselves by not touching the asfalt and needing people to be provided water...

It was all about life.

The proposal should be and stay alive.

We wanted to use elements to repeat on the facade, and so in the big square.

We wanted people to interact with these elements (keep them alive, for instance).

We suggested to create a platforms system growing across the facade up to the roof.
