After obtaining her master degree in Economics MSc (Strategy and Organization), Vanessa started her management career at Aldi Süd, where she was responsible for up to 12 retail stores and 86 direct reports. After 6 years in the retail business she decided to focus on her passion for people management and development. Building on her experience in the FMCG retail sector, she joined an international recruitment consultancy for two years. As a Senior Management Recruitment Consultant, Vanessa decided to join the Service Science Factory in 2012. As a Project Leader her responsibilities included managing business projects and building the project teams. Thanks to her strategic and solution oriented way of working, she has designed, optimised and succesfully implemented new processess, such as the assessment centres. These represent a special experience for both applicants and clients. Since 2013 Vanessa teaches Design Thinking, hosts Legos Serious play workshops and consults business clients in Innovation questions. In 2016 Vanessa has co-authored the very first visual and multi-media communication comic book.
