The Endless Pi

The Endless River (2014) with Life of Pi (2012) - Discovered by me Feb 2015

Start track 1 as the 20th Century Fox intro fades out.  Keep playing until movie ends.

Evidence:

-The cover of The Endless River is similar to the cover of Life of Pi.

The Cloud River

The Endless River (2014) with Cloud Atlas (2012) - Discovered by Andrew Wendland

Start track 1 as the stars in the night sky at the beginning of the movie appear.  Keep playing until movie ends.

Evidence:

-The cover of the album has a man in a boat on a river of clouds.  A cloud atlas would be required to properly navigate

-The Endless River film synopsis: "Within this intuitive interpretation of Pink Floyd's music, there are secrets, enigmas and metaphors. The narrative is open ended, therefore open to individual interpretation, along the lines of: In the parallel worlds of the past and the future, two tribes struggle to survive on a dying planet, while attempting to communicate with the life force of earth itself. As time runs out, a monolith approaches from outer space, carrying within it a puzzle which they fail to understand. Is it a warning, or does it contain the secret to the survival of mankind?

—Ian Emes"

The Lost River

The Endless River (2014) with All Is Lost (2013) - Discovered by Andrew Wendland 11/11/14

Start the album when the light on the side of the planet appears, which then transforms into the Lionsgate logo.

Evidence:

-The album cover and booklet artwork have clues that point to this film.  The cover, for example, has a lone boat among clouds.  The clouds look like a turbulent sea.

Louder Than Words

The Endless River (2014) with Louder Than Words (2013) - Discovered by Me 8/8/15

Start track 1 right as "Brenwoord Films Presents" appears.  Play on repeat until movie ends.

Evidence:

-The name of the last song on the album is Louder Than Words.

-The song Anisina is a Turkish word meaning "in memory of, in commemoration of, in remembrance of, remembrance, memory, recollection"  This obviously has it's main reference to Richard Wright, but can also include other, such as Syd Barrett or Storm Thorgerson, also the girl in the film.

-The front cover can also refer to the girl's death and her being 'above the clouds'.
