2001 Echoes: A Pink Floyd Odyssey

Echoes: The Best of Pink Floyd (2001) with 2001: A Space Odyssey - Discovered by me a number of years ago.

Start track 1 as the blue MGM logo fades out.  Keep playing until movie ends.

Evidence:

-See the previous '2001' syncs.  This is a "best of" album containing songs from previous albums, some songs of which appear at close to the same time as when played on the original album.  Another Brick part 2, for example, would play close to the same time on The Wall as it does on The Best of.

-The album was released in 2001.  The film takes place, in part, in the year 2001, suggesting a connection.

-The song Echoes, from Pink Floyd's Meddle album syncs up beautifully with the last segment of the movie (See the Meddle/2001 sync).  The name of the album and release year again suggests a connection between the two (the song Echoes and movie).

Echoes: The Best of Pink Floyd (2001) with K-PAX (2001) - Discovered by ...

Start Disc One when the Universal logo starts to appear.

Evidence:

-On page 16 of the booklet that came with the album, you can see a K-PAX book to the lower right of the hammers, on the white wall.  You can see the book, but not really the name, in the image at the top of this page.
