The Absolution Wall

Absolution (2003) with Pink Floyd's The Wall (1982) - Discovered by me 06/30/15

Start track 1 as the MGM lion fades out.  Repeat until end of movie.

Evidence:

The video for Hysteria "is based on the hotel-trashing scene from the movie Pink Floyd The Wall", suggesting a link between the two.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3dm_5qWWDV8

The front of the album is reminiscent of a scene from The Wall film, during Goodbye Blue Sky; evenly-spaced planes flying overhead turning into crosses.  Down below the 'frightened ones' are wearing gasmasks.  You can see on the cover of the album the man is holding a gasmask, with evenly-spaced shadows of 'people' with arms out, cross-shaped.   Album cover -  http://www.hipgnosiscovers.com/muse/absolution.html  Clip from The Wall - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_kGOAWnvyWA

Dr. Bellamy or How I learned to Stop Worrying and Love Absolution

Absolution (2003) with Dr. Strangelove (1964) - Discovered by me 2007-08-09?  I dunno.

Start track 1 as the first scene after the credits, appears.

Evidence:

- The video for Time is Running Out "featuring a shadowy council of Dr Strangelove-esque powermongers" ( 10 geeky facts about Absolution )

-The album cover and the movie poster compliment each other.  The poster has planes flying above in formation.  The album cover has human shadows in formation.  This could also be the graves of people by nuclear war, as seen by the gasmask the man is holding.
