Вечір 21 серпня учасники проекту Explore Kyiv провели насолоджуючись мистецтвом. Ще раз хочемо подякувати

партнеру проекту- Національній філармонії України за

нагоду відвідати фестиваль "Літні музичні промені". Для нас це справді був дивовижний вечір поєднання кількох культур в одному місці.

Лише уявіть собі, хлопець та дівчина, що приїхали до нас із Румунії, потрапляють в Києві на концерт симфонічного оркестру, перша частина якого присвячена румунським народним танцям. Своїм враженням вони діляться з нами:

"Although in the city where I am studying there is Philharmonic, to my shame I have never been there. Thursday I was surprised when I read on a flyer  a few romanian name songs and pleasantly surprised by what happened in the hall. I listened carefully and I was amazed.  After this show I have concluded that this music shouldn’t be just heard, this music is not about nice different sounds in my ears, I believe that this music gives emotions to be felt with the heart and not only... This show opened my desire to participate at events like this. Thank you for this invitation!"

" I realised that the music is the true universal language when, in the fourth row, I heard the first musical notes. 
Thursday, August 21, 2014 - National Philharmonic of Ukraine gave me a great opportunity to feel like at home, remembering me the times when, younger, I enjoyed classical music in the Filarmonica Moldova Iași (România), eight years in a row.
For two hours, I was in another world. A world where only pianos, cellos, violins, violas, double-basses, drums, flutes, piccolos, oboes, clarinets, bassons, horns, trumpets, trombones, tuba and timpani are speaking, without words, a language understood by anyone. 
The music I have heard on Thursday carried me through all kind of emotions. Patriotic at first, when hearing Romanian Folk Dances for small symphony orchestra (Bartok). Struggling, when hearing the Concerto for violin, cello and Piano (Shalygin). Peaceful, when hearing the so well-known and familiar Symphony No. 2, Opus 73, in D major (Brahms).
To sum up, Thursday evening was the most pleasant evening I have spent until now in Kiev! I am looking forward to more events like this!"
