This material is extremely dense, so the darts can weigh more will having a slim profile. Steel tip darts made from tungsten are the best type to have if you need to get them grouped tightly on the board. Tungsten darts are also the most expensive.

Professionals and experienced players usually use steel tip darts made from tungsten because of their slim profile and durability. If you're an intermediate player, you should try using nickel darts. They are slightly tougher than brass darts and only slightly more expensive.
