On the 19th July, 2014, a small APAudio team set off from Preston and headed to Denbigh, Wales. There we provided a PA system for an outdoor event at the Plas Pigot. The event was titled, Gig Y 7.

In total, 6 bands played the event, which was all to raise money for an expedition to Mongolia. The bands included: Candelas, Y Trwbz, Y Reu, Y Cledrau, The Jigsaws and Fleur de Lys. The headlining band was Y Trwbz, who were absolutely fabulous.

The team, Ash & Conor, had such a fun time. Ash had this to say, "Despite the weather being as bad as the stereotypical Glastonbury weather, we powered through, and the gig flowed very well. We've received so many good reports, we are hoping to return next year if they plan to put on another event!"

ROAD TRIP!!!

We wanna wish congratulations and good luck to Ash, Josh and Conor who are off to University!

Conor is venturing off to the mystical land of Cardiff. He will be studying a degree in music performance, specialising on the drums. We know he is gonna smash it out of the ball park!

Ash and Josh have both ran off to Manchester to study at the legendary SSR - School of Sound Recording. They are both doing a BSc (Hons) in Studio & Live Music Production. They will be studying and running APAudio from Manchester, while travelling to work all over the UK.

These three did so well in college, coming out with top marks! We are so proud of our team. So we wanna wish them all the best and we know they are gonna SMASH IT!

THATS HOW WE ROLL!

Well this weekend, 25th - 28th September, 2014, was Salford Music Festival. Live music from in Pubs/Venues all across Salford. Our very own Josh Skorczewski was brought in to engineer at the Dockyards, Media City. We've had so much praise about him - next year is going to be even bigger!

Paul Ashton - Salford Music Festival:
"Many thanks for your answer to our cry for help on Friday. As a result we got 5 extra engineers and these included some of the most proficient of the festival. They were all very professional in their approach, communicated well and best of all no drama when dealing with the inevitable little things that go wrong with an event such as this.

Special mention for Josh Skorczewski who literally rescued the gig at Media City. He soon found his way around the digital desk and I received a number of comments on the excellent quality of the sound."
