Some of the providers do allow for analytics (visitor count, interactions, etc) which may be worthwhile for first time low energy bluetooth beacon users. I find that most realtors are best served though by buying a simple "4xAA" beacon that is iBeacon (apple device compatible) and eddystone (android device capable) and just use the simple configuration tool included to give it an address of a https url that redirects to a page on your site that both markets the property and gets/gives contact info.

These 2 frustrations aside - beacons can and do help and if pursued in the right manner, can be a cheap and effective advertising means.
I'd say be cautious of any vendor offering monthly plans or pushing the sales pitch "no app needs to be installed" too often. To be honest - you can buy your own beacons (high powered ones, that use 4x AA batteries) and configure it to go to an https page pretty easily, with a message displayed on a phone like "CLOSTER NJ REAL ESTATE". Rolling back a little bit, the process does require that your site be shortened, I normally use TINYURL.COM for this.
USING BEACONS FOR REAL ESTATE
Beacons make an mobile app, text message or link appear on a prospects cellphone once they walk within range of your low energy bluetooth beacon. It's a less than perfect system -- but can be refined to be made usable. The 2 biggest problems are who can receive it (they must have bluetooth and location turned on for it to even possible work) and the advertising rate (it takes time to get it out to people -- and it wont readvertise to someone who received and deleted it for quite a while).
